POSTAL DELIVERY - VALUE METHODS
Delivery within the United States — 4-11 business days after the package leaves our facility.
Our "Postal Delivery or Best Method" option is the cheapest way to get your package. All free shipping offers are shipped using Value Methods. Value Methods are available for orders within the United States only. You must be able to accept a package via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Package is shipped via FedEx Smartpost, UPS SurePost, or UPS Ground who partner with USPS for the final delivery. To qualify for Value Methods, your total order weight must not exceed 10 lbs., must not be factory direct, truck shipped, hazardous, or be considered too large by Postal Service Standards. Certain items such as 25, 50, or 100 sheets of watercolor paper, matboard, furniture, gallon-sized items, and oversized items exceed the restrictions given by FedEx, UPS, and USPS, therefore cannot travel via Value Methods. Shipper is at our discretion, however if your address is not deliverable by one of these carriers, please leave a comment in the comment section of checkout.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders ship by USPS International and FedEx International Economy - delivery times vary. Free shipping does not apply to international orders. For orders up to 20 lbs., your shipping cost will be calculated during checkout. The cost is determined by the items ordered, weight, size, and destination. If your order requires additional shipping charges, you will be contacted by Customer Service. We request that you please respond within 7 days after receiving our notification. Orders with additional shipping costs will not ship without approval and can be canceled up until that time. Items that contain hazardous, flammable, or electronic material cannot ship outside of the US. If this applies, a notification will be given.
Recipient(s) are responsible for taxes, duties, or brokerage fees and cannot be estimated prior to shipping. Correct value prices will be shown for custom clearance, as we do not mark packages as gifts or samples and we are unable to remove pricing from documents.
Shipments delivered to remote and less-accessible locations may be subject to an out-of-delivery area or out-of-pickup-area surcharge. JourneyArtStuff.com is not always made aware of these shipper surcharges when the order is placed. If a surcharge has been applied to your order, we will notify you for pre-approval before we ship the order.

HAZARDOUS/FLAMMABLE MATERIALS
Items that are considered hazardous or flammable cannot be shipped by USPS, nor by any method that requires air transportation. Items like aerosol sprays and turpentine, for instance, cannot be shipped by 2nd Day Delivery or Next Day Air, nor can these items be shipped to addresses outside the 48 Contiguous States.

OVERSIZED
Items that are marked Oversized require special handling and fall under special regulations by many shipping carriers. There may be additional handling charges or the item may be limited to certain shipping methods. Oversized items are not eligible for free shipping. You may be contacted by customer service to discuss actual shipping costs.
FACTORY DIRECT
These items ship directly from the manufacturer. Please allow additional time for delivery.
Items shipped directly from the manufacturer may require an additional cost for shipping and handling, and may not be eligible for express shipping. You will be notified if the item you ordered cannot be shipped express. Keep in mind, once an item has been placed on order with the manufacturer, the process can't be stopped. If you change your mind, your refund will be minus the shipping charges incurred to get the item to you and then returned. Often, a manufacturer will charge a restocking fee. This amount will also be deducted from your refund.
TRUCK SHIPMENTS
Truck Shipment items are exempt from our regular shipping chart and may require a specific freight quote to your address. You will be contacted by customer service prior to billing to discuss actual shipping costs.
An item or large order shipped by truck, whether direct from the factory or from JourneyArtStuff.com, will incur a freight shipping charge. Your shipping address must be deliverable by a semi-truck. When your order includes items in addition to the truck ship item, you may count the price of the truck ship item towards the Free Shipping policy so that the other items can ship free.
IMPORTANT TIPS TO RECEIVING A TRUCK SHIPMENT
NOTE: Freight Liners will only guarantee a delivery if damage is reported within 10 business days. JourneyArtStuff.com is not responsible for damage reports occurring outside this 10-day window.
If the driver is present:
- Count all boxes to make sure that all have been delivered.
- Carefully inspect the cartons for even the slightest damage (creases, dents, holes etc).
If slightest damage is apparent:
- Unpack and inspect goods for damage.
- Note the carton markings (creases, dents, holes) on the driver’s delivery receipt.
- DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY IF PRODUCTS WITHIN ARE DAMAGED!
- Contact JourneyArtStuff.com at info@JourneyArtStuff.com for assistance and to advise if a replacement is needed.
- If possible, please provide pictures – documenting this process could help expedite your claim with the freight carrier.
If the driver is not present:
- Do not move the package from the receiving area.
- Do not discard cartons or packaging material.
- Call the Carrier to report damage and request an inspection.
The Carrier may advise that they will inspect the goods, or the Carrier may advise that the inspection will be waived. Be sure to note the name of the representative with whom you spoke and what they said. - Contact JourneyArtStuff.com at info@JourneyArtStuff.com for assistance and to advise if a replacement is needed.
- If possible, please provide pictures – documenting this process could help expedite your claim with the freight carrier.
